CERES Italian Hackathon: students and professionals tackle real circular economy challenges in Bari & Online

The CERES project is excited to announce the launch of the CERES Italian Hackathon, a hybrid innovation event taking place 12–18 December 2025 in Bari, Italy, and online through the CERES Hub. Registration has been extended until 11 December.
The Hackathon brings together students, young professionals, and companies to co-develop solutions for real industrial challenges in the circular economy. Participants will work in teams on cases provided by companies from across Europe, gaining hands-on experience, mentoring support, and the opportunity to compete for prizes and advance to the European CERES Hackathon finals.
The initiative is part of the CERES Certified Training Path, a European research-based programme designed to equip the next generation with the skills needed for the circular economy and digital transition.

The CERES Italian Hackathon is organised by Politecnico di Bari, BinP – Boosting Innovation in Poliba and MICS – Made in Italy Circolare e Sostenibile in collaboration with CERES project partners, and with the support of leading companies engaged in the circular transition.
