bridging resilience, digital and technical skills

An insightful webtalk focused on addressing training needs for advancing Circular Economy practices in today’s business landscape.

During the webtalk, experts provided an exclusive sneak peek into the results from the CERES partnership’s report on Circular Economy educational needs. Based on a comprehensive skills needs analysis conducted across various sectors, this session delves into the key competencies required by companies to foster sustainability, resilience, and innovation.

In this engaging discussion, we explored clusters of training needs for navigating the transition towards Circular Economy models and the skills gap challenges they face. Drawing from the findings of our recent report, we uncovered the specific areas where to bridge the gap in digital literacy, technical proficiency, and resilience capabilities.

Our expert panelists shared practical insights and strategies for equipping current and future professionals with the necessary skills to thrive in Circular Economy initiatives. WEBTALK 2
building widespread knowledge about circular economy

The second CERES Webtalk was packed with special announcements, so we decided to go hybrid — in presence at Politecnico di Bari during the International Joint Conference on Industrial Engineering and Operations Management, and online for a wider audience.

From launching the Circular Economy Digital Innovation Hub (CEDIH) to unveiling the final CERES curricula for HE and VET, this session marked a key milestone for CERES and the future of circular economy education.

A heartfelt thank you to our brilliant speakers for feedback and participation that are helping us shape our impact with CERES in Circular Economy education and training.
